REVIEWS FROM THE 2021 ADVENT MARKET VENDORS!

What I loved most about the Catholic Advent Market was the opportunity to see the joy of true Catholic community. It was truly a place for friends and family to gather around the meaning of Christmas. From the music, intentionality of the event, and the smiles of everyone present it was a witness of how we can come together for events that reflect the beauty of the Church. Simultaneously, as a vendor, it allowed a space for me to share my business Pax and Pieta with the community. Everyone was excited to shop with the purpose of contributing to the mission of the artisans. I am so excited to see this event coming back this year and am looking forward to all the new surprises the team is planning to enrich the market!

There’s a temptation during the holiday season to get caught up in the busyness of consumerism. Through thoughtful preparation & prayer, the Advent market succeeded in remaining faithful to the Advent season by creating a day that celebrated the joyful & sacred anticipation of the birth of Christ. As an artist, I was able to build community with other artists. I am so grateful for those lasting friendships. I felt seen by those choosing to purchase my art for their homes or Christmas gifts and the in-person shopping provided an opportunity to share the inspiration behind my art pieces. It was truly a blessing to have this day of prayer, creativity, and family time.

As a bonus from my 7yr old: The advent market was so fun! I made new friends, ate delicious food, and loved the beautiful art. I hope to go again and celebrate Jesus in Christmas.
